Drug Arrest on Virginia Avenue

February 8th, 2014 by WCBC Radio

Officers responded to the Sheetz store on Virginia Ave. for a report of two people acting suspiciously as if they were going to steal items from the store.  Upon their arrival they contacted the store management who pointed out the two subjects they called about and told the officers what they had seen the subjects do.  The officers made contact with the subjects who denied concealing any items from the store on their person.  They were asked for consent to search and agreed to this.  Cody Clark began to empty her purse with nothing located.  She was then asked to empty her pockets and in doing so removed a metal spoon.  The officer then observed a white rag partially hanging out of her pocket and asked her to remove that.  She did so and inside of the rag was a hypodermic needle along with several different pieces of heroin paraphernalia.  She admitted to the officers that she used these items to inject heroin earlier in the day.  She was placed under arrest and searched incident to arrest.  During this search the officer located three different controlled narcotics and a razor blade.  No items from the store were located on her or her friend.  Clark was transported to PH where she was charged and processed.

Cody Amanda Clark                                    Age: 34                                   Everett, PA.
