During the months of June and July, the Allegany County Sheriff's Office began an investigation into the sales/distribution of Illicit drugs being sold/distributed in the Midland and Westernport areas. During the course of this investigation information was gaithered that the target in this investigation was wanted on a warrant on file through the state of New York for a Parole Violation, (felon in possession of a handgun issued in New York City area). Enough informationwas gaithered that a search and seizure warrant was executed at that residence on July 19. Arrested were two residents of New York, one from Baltimore and a local woman: 23 year old Kari Ann Donaldson of Westernport. Sheriff Craig Robertson said that citizen involvement was the key to the successful outcome of these investigations- and he urged any citizen with information to notify his office.
