DUI Arrest

On 04/05/14 at 4:22pm Officers with the Cumberland Police Dept responded to a residence located in the 700 block of Linden St in reference to an unknown subject knocking on the complainant’s rear door whom they did not know. Officers were issued a description of the subject by the complainant. Officers located the subject as described by the complainant in a vehicle in the rear of the residence. Upon speaking with the suspect Officers detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage. Officer’s then performed several Standard Field Sobriety Tests in which the subject failed. As a result 38 year old Jamy Lacomb of Hyndman was placed under arrest and transported to the Cumberland Police Department for processing and charging. Once at the Station, Lacomb refused to listen to Officer’s commands and grabbed an Officer by the shirt refusing to let go. Lacomb further grabbed at the Officer’s sunglasses squeezing them causing them to break. Lacomb was then processed and charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, Assault Second Degree, and Destruction of Property. Lacomb was taken for an initial appearance at District Court where he was released on his personal recognizance pending his next court appearance. The Officer was not injured and did not require medical treatment.

On 10/28/12 at approximately 0635 hrs., Tfc. Spicer responded to the Sheetz in Corrganiville, for a possible drunk driver.  Tfc. Spicer located the vehicle and driver who was identified as, Tabatha Louise Miller, W/F, age 34, Manns Choice, PA.   Miller agreed to and failed all three of the standardized field sobriety tests.  Miller was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs, processed and released by the Allegany County Commissioner on P.R.
