On Saturday evening 03/17/2012 into the early morning hours Sunday, Troopers from the Maryland State Police Barrack in Cumberland conducted a DUI Saturation Patrol on Interstate 68, U.S. Rt. 220, MD Rt. 51 and MD Rt. 40 in and around the City of Cumberland, Allegany County. As a result of the special patrol initiative, four Troopers stopped 37 vehicles and issued 40 warnings. Motorists are encouraged to report possible intoxicated drivers by contacting the Maryland State Police at 301-729-2101
