Early voting is underway in Maryland for the primary on April 3. Until Thursday, registered voters will be able to cast their ballots in the primary election. Besides selecting a presidential nominee and delegates to both parties' conventions, there are contested primaries in both parties for U.S. Senate for the seat now held by Democrat Ben Cardin. There is also a contested primary in both parties in the 6th Congressional District which includes Allegany, Garrett and Washington Counties. That seat is now held by Republican Roscoe Bartlett.
