Eastern Panhandle Fugitive Captured

Martinsburg, WV. – The U.S. Marshals, Mountain State Fugitive Task Force arrested Brian Nickens wanted by the U.S. Marshals Service on a warrant charging him with violation of his bond conditions stemming from an ATF case where Nickens was charged with being a drug user in possession of a firearm.

Nickens was added to the Eastern Panhandle’s Most Wanted website and released in the media as the fugitive of the month for September. Calls from the public began to pour in with tips on possible locations and information about Nickens.

As a result of all those leads; on September 9, 2013 Task Force officers located Nickens in a car in the parking lot of Long John Silver’s Restaurant in Charles Town, West Virginia. Nickens was taken into custody in the parking lot and remains in Eastern Regional Jail awaiting his federal trial.
