Eight served with warrants

On Friday 2019 the Cumberland Police Department served several arrest warrants issued by District Court for failures to appear for trial. 

 

Kista Sue Dicken, age; 44, of Cumberland was served a bench warrant for failing to appear for trial back on September 9th, 2019 for a driving an uninsured vehicle charge.  She was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center to await a bond review before the District Court Commissioner.

 

Brian Joseph Widdows, age; 40, of Cumberland was served a bench warrant for failing to appear for trial back on October 8th, 2019 for a disorderly conduct charge.  He was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center to await a bond review before the District Court Commissioner.

 

Michael Anthony Walker, age; 29, of Cumberland was served a bench warrant for failing to appear for trial back on December 21st, 2017 for an obstructing and hindering charge.  He was remanded to Allegany County Detention Center to await a bond review before the District Court Commissioner.

 

Clarissa Morgan Twigg, age; 23, of Cumberland was served a bench warrant for failing to appear for trial back on October 7th, 2019 for a driving on a suspended license charge.  She was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center to await a bond review before the District Court Commissioner.

 

Deborrah Maria Tawney, age; 56, of Cumberland was served a bench warrant for failing to appear for trial back on October 10th, 2019 for a driving on a suspended license charge.  She was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center to await a bond review before the District Court Commissioner.

 

 

Circuit Court Warrants Served

 

On Friday, October 11th, 2019 the Cumberland Police Department served a Circuit Court Body Attachment on Elias J. McMannis  for failing to appear for a hearing back on September 18th, 2019.  He was taken before the District Court Commissioner and was released on his own personal recognizance.

 

On Friday, October 11th, 2019 the Cumberland Police Department served a Circuit Court Warrant on William Foster Younger for violation of probation.  The warrant was issued for violating terms of his probation ordered by the court back in April, 2018 for a second degree assault charge.  He was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center held without bond until he can be seen by a Circuit Court Judge.
