Emergency Services Advises Locust Grove Residents To Watch Rising Water

Earlier this afternoon, the National Weather Service in Sterling, Virginia, issued a Flood Warning for Wills Creek for late tonight into Monday.

The advisory said the rising water may affect businesses in Motor City.

Allegany County Emergency Services Director Dick Devore has advised residents of Locust Grove, which is in close proximity to Motor City, to be aware of the rising water, be aware of their surroundings, and to take appropriate action as necessary.

WCBC will continue to monitor the situation and broadcast alerts on AM 1270, FM 103.1, Classic Hits 107.1 and on wcbcradio.com.
