Every year, the Dapper Dan Club of Allegany County holds a sports awards banquet that honors local athletic and civic achievement, and special recognition for kids who receive service from The Children’s League.
Cathy Growden is the Executive Director of the League, and announced the children of the year, twins AJ and Aiden Tyler, 9 year olds from the Flintstone area. Growden accepted the proceeds from the dinner in a check from the Dapper Dan to the League.
