Farrell calls effort to remove Foote “politically motivated”

Allegany County Board of Education President Robert Farrell tells WCBC News that the ongoing effort on the part of both current and former school board members to have Wayne Foote removed is becoming tiresome-  and is clearly politically motivated. After the outgoing board voted at a late December meeting to approve a resolution asking the state to remove Foote from the board- former board members Laurie Marchini and Sara Beth Bittinger sent separate letters to the state detailing additional allegations. With many of the accusations based on incidents alleged to have occurred several years ago- Farrell says the timing of the resolution and followup letters are suspect…

                                     

Neither Marchini or Bittinger have returned calls from WCBC News seeking comment
