Fat Soul show at Embassy Theatre

August 31st, 2016 by WCBC Radio

The Embassy Theatre, located on the Downtown Cumberland Mall, will hold an event this Saturday, Sept 3 called FAT SOUL – an evening of musicianship and vocals.

Opening up the evening at 8 pm will be Chester Dabrowski, who is a keyboardist/DJ originally from Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. With no formal piano training, Chester found interest in keyboard and recording in the spring of 2014. He began to play at open mics in the spring of 2015 as a solo musician, and relocated to Frostburg, MD that summer. He worked for Misfit Toys Industries in the upcoming series of radio dramas, “The Darklands,” as the music director.

Featured at the event will be Ben Childs, who is an 18 year old singer/songwriter from Frostburg, Maryland. From acoustic love songs to electric pop-punk, Ben has explored all genres of music, which is reflected in his songwriting. When he isn't on stage, Ben attends Frostburg State University as a computer science major. Accordian to the musician himself, Ben says, 'Whether it's on stage or in the library, I always let my fat soul show." Ben will also have his new release CD available at the event.
