September 4th, 2018 by WCBC Radio

The Cumberland Times News reports an Everett man has been arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing of a woman early Tuesday at a West Main Street home. Pennsylvania State Police said Bernard Harry Jones Jr., 41, will be arraigned on charges of criminal homicide, murder of the first degree and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He'll have no option for bail. Police said troopers were called to 507 W. Main St. for a reported domestic dispute just before 2 a.m. Tuesday. During the dispute, the woman, who was not identified, "was stabbed by the accused with a knife he had gathered from the kitchen," read a report about the incident issued by state police.  The victim was pronounced dead about three hours later at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital. Jones allegedly fled the scene in a 2011 Nissan Rouge and later was arrested without incident as he traveled on the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Chester County, police said.
