Federal Judge to Rule on Relocation of Endangered Species at Local Zoo

December 3rd, 2019 by WCBC Radio

The Washington Post is reporting that a PETA complaint filed against the Tri State Zoological Park, on Christie Road, may result in a federal court order to relocate some of the large animals at the local zoo.

PETA and the zoo have been at odds for years, with PETA claiming poor conditions are leading to premature death for some of the animals, and Tri State Zoological Park saying that conditions are fine, and that PETA is trying to put the zoo out of business.

According to the post, the judge is expected to rule by December 15th.
