Federal Lawsuit Alleges Non-Citizens Have Been Allowed To Vote In Maryland

While computer  glitches with the early voting process has been making the headlines in Maryland this week- Baltimore County Republican Delegate Pat McDonough says there are even more serious concerns with voting in the state dating back 8 years. WBAL reports the delegate has joined a group of Frederick County residents in a federal lawsuit alleging that non-citizens have been allowed to vote in Maryland elections dating back to 2006. At a news conference, McDonough presented documents that showed that the residents declined summons to serve on jury duty, because they were not U.S. Citizens. However, McDonough alleges those people cast ballots in state and local elections. McDonough wants the Maryland State Prosecutor to investigate the matter to see if this occurred in other counties…
