Fifth CHC Resident Dies from COVID-19 Complications

The Allegany County Health Department reports that a woman who was a resident at Cumberland Healthcare Center has died due to complications of COVID-19.  This is the fifth coronavirus-related death at the facility and the ninth death for Allegany County. Today the health department reports no new cases of COVID-19 in Allegany County for the second day in a row.  The COVID-19 case count remains at 122. As of Friday, 951 Allegany County residents had been tested for COVID-19, with 811 of those testing negative, 122 testing positive, and 18 still pending.

    Spoken like an uneducated person. This virus will be infecting us for the unforeseen future. If we don’t self isolate the life of this will continue indefinitely until a vaccination is developed, proven, and every living person inoculated.
