Tuesday marked the end of an era at Cumberland’s City Hall as longtime Councilman Harold “Butch” Hendershot participated in his final public meeting. It was also the final meeting for Councilwoman Mary Beth Pirolozzi. Hendershot was first elected to office in 1994, and Pirolozzi was appointed to fill an unexpired term in 2007 and was elected to the seat in 2008. Prior to joining the council Mary Beth served as an administrative assistant to state senators John Bambacus and John Hafer for a total of 18 years. Hendershot, among other things, was instrumental in the development of the city’s popular “Lets Beautify Cumberland” program…
