Deputy State Fire Marshals are currently investigating the cause of a evening blaze which resulted in serious injuries to two occupants of the home. The 5:45 PM fire was reported by a neighbor who heard a smoke alarm sounding from the residence at 15937 Foundry Row.

First arriving firefighters located both the male and female victims inside of the homes side door. The victims were quickly rescued from the home and transported to the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center for treatment.
