We have additional information on the working house fire reported last night at 1114 Bishop Walsh Road.
Allegany County 911 tells us the initial call came in at 7:30 PM, and fire units from Cumberland, Corriganville, Bedford Road, Bowling Green, LaVale, Cresaptown, Frostburg, Ridgeley, and Wiley Ford responded. Due to the monitoring of hot spots, Cumberland firefighters did not clear the scene until 8 AM.
Cumberland Fire Marshal Shannon Adams is investigating the cause.
The State Assessment website identifies the owners as James and Margaret Snodgrass.
