The National Weather Service in State College PA has issued a * Flood Advisory for... Bedford County in south central Pennsylvania... Southwestern Huntingdon County in central Pennsylvania... Somerset County in south central Pennsylvania... Fulton County in south central Pennsylvania... Southern Blair County in central Pennsylvania... Cambria County in central Pennsylvania... * Until 1030 AM EDT. * At 733 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain that will cause minor flooding in the advisory area. Up to two inches of rain have already fallen across the area, with locally higher amounts. While the area of heavier rain had moved northward, more heavy rain over southwestern Pennsylvania will move across the advisory area this morning. * Some locations that will experience flooding include... Altoona, Johnstown, Somerset, Hollidaysburg, Westmont, Windber, Ebensburg, Bedford, Belmont, Nanty-Glo, Portage, Breezewood, Warfordsburg, Roaring Spring, Geistown, Southmont, Meyersdale, Berlin, Clearville and New Enterprise. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
