August 2nd, 2014 by WCBC Radio

U.S. Senator Barbara A. Mikulski (D-Md.) today announced that low-interest disaster loans from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) are available for residents, communities and businesses working to recover from severe flooding in Western Maryland.

“Western Maryland communities like Clear Spring need a government on their side as they work to recover from the destruction and devastation caused by severe flooding,” Senator Mikulski said. “This federal assistance will help families, businesses and communities work to recover and rebuild lives and livelihoods that have been uprooted and overturned.”

Affected residents and businesses in Western Maryland are able to apply for low-interest disaster loans from the SBA in Allegany and Washington Counties as well as the adjacent counties of Frederick and Garrett.
