Former Commissioner Bill Valentines Testifies Against Proposal To Increase Minimum Wage

Former Allegany County Commissioner Bill Valentine was among the group of local residents who made the trip to Annapolis last week to testify against the proposal to increase the minimum wage to $15 an hour over the next several years.

Valentine made his remarks in front of the Senate Finance Committee.

    Nothing like bringing in “expert” testimony from the guy the voters “retired.” I’m sure Mr. “We can’t pay anyone anything” will bring a lot to the hearing.
