Fort Hill Students Being Investigated On Charges Of Assault

On Thursday, May 17, 2012 the Cumberland City Police Department’s School Resource Officer assigned to Fort Hill High School was advised of an ongoing assault.  The School Resource Officer along with school officials contacted and interviewed the juvenile male victim.  The victim advised that he was punched and kicked multiple times by two juvenile male students during the past six months.  The victim stated that the assaults were taking place during school hours near the gymnasium.  Two male juvenile students at Fort Hill High School were identified as suspects.  The school took immediate disciplinary action and both juvenile suspects have been suspended from school.  The investigation is ongoing and charges are forth coming in the next couple days through the Department of Juvenile Justice.

    Kids bullying other kids in school! Incredible story well worthy of airtime and front page news!

    I heard there was a kid at South Penn taking lunch money…. better get on it!

    Not according to Dave. Dave wants to know where the teachers were. A school of 800 and Dave expects the teachers to see all and know all of every thing going on all around at all times. I’m fairly certain there were no teachers standing at the spots where the kicking was going on. Be realistic.
    Hell, it was a teacher who noticed the bruising and initiated the investigation. Why didn’t a parent notice?
