A fourth, and final, suspect has been charged in connection with a string of thefts and destructions of property which occurred during the evening hours on 12/15/2011 at several different locations in Frostburg.

18 year old Kevin William Palsgrove, of Elkton, MD, has been charged with three (3) counts of Theft and one (1) count of Malicious Destruction of Property for his part in the incident.

Three co-defendants, 19 year old Robert Evans Patterson II, of Elkton, MD, 19 year old Brandon Shea Nils MacMurphy, of Riva, MD, and 18 year old Nicholas Edward Dorsey, of Temecula, CA were charged previously. All four defendants are free, on their own recognizance, pending their next court appearance.

The investigation into the incident, which resulted in over $13,500.00 in damage to numerous vehicles and the theft of less than $100.00 in Christmas decorations, was conducted by the Frostburg Police, the Frostburg State University Police, and the C3I Unit.

As was the case with his co-defendants, Palsgrove was an FSU student in the fall semester, but is not enrolled now, according to a representative of the FSU administration.

Statement from Frostburg State University:  “Frostburg State University continues to appreciate the close communication and collaboration regarding this matter with Frostburg City Police and C3I. We value this partnership.”
