During an appearance on WCBC’s “Dave Norman Show”, Allegany County Board of Education member Tammy Fraley responded to the radio show hosts frequent criticism that the board has been manipulated and has been acting on the orders of the superintendent- a tail leading the dog scenario. The board is currently in the process of replacing longtime superintendent David Cox- and last week selected Jeff Blank with the administration to serve as interim. Fraley said regardless of whom is superintendent- that person serves at the pleasure of the board and carries out elected board’s policies.
