Franchot Believes Easter Deadline for Relaxing Shutdowns Ill-Advised

President Donald Trump last week said  he wants the nation "opened up and just raring to go by Easter" — a date just two weeks away that few health experts believe will be sufficient in containing the spread of coronavirus. Count Maryland Comptroller Peter Franchot among those believing those comments are ill-advised. The White House's coronavirus task force is receiving plenty of feedback from public health experts who are sounding the alarm over easing the social distancing guidelines this week. Comptroller Franchot says there is little to gain from painting an unrealistic picture of a situation- particularly when things are  expected to only get worse in the coming weeks…

    PRESIDENT Trump was being hopeful and not trying to scare people to death (suicides are up). If he had been declaring doomsday, the DEMS and media would have been all aver him for that. They will Damn him either way.
