More signs of an early winter. Just days after the first snowfall, the National Weather Service has issued a freeze warning for the western Maryland area overnight Thursday, with temperatures expected to drop into the 20's. The warning is in effect from 3 a.m. through 10 a.m. Friday. It covers Allegany and Garrett counties.
