Frost Elementary Recognized As 2014 Blue Ribbon School Of Excellence

On Wednesday, Frost Elementary School was recognized as the Maryland State Department of Education as a 2014 Blue Ribbon School of Excellence, along with only five other schools in the state.  In attendance to accept the school’s award was Dr. David Cox, Superintendent of Schools; Kim Smith, principal at Frost; along with several staff members from Frost.  During the recognition ceremony, Dr. Lillian Lowery, State Superintendent of Schools, and Dr. Darla Strouse, Executive Director of the Office of Partnership Development, presented Frost’s representatives with a Blue Ribbon School flag and a plaque of recognition.
