Frostburg Drug Bust

On October 13, 2014 members of the C3I Narcotics Unit along with officers from the Frostburg Police Department executed a Search and Seizure Warrant at 226 Main Street, Frostburg, Allegany County, MD 21532.  The search warrant stemmed from a year long investigation into the sales/distribution of both Crack Cocaine and Heroin being distributed throughout the Frostburg area.  Upon making entry into the residence, the target of the investigation, Corey James Douglas, (36 YOA) Winston Street Baltimore, Maryland was attempting to flee the residence by jumping out a second story window.  Both Mr. Douglas and his girlfriend, Tiffany Dawn Resh (26 YOA, resident of 226 Main Street in Frostburg) were taken into custody.  A large cache of CDS was seized to include the following: 31.9 grams of cocaine, 44.7 grams of crack cocaine, and 15.2 grams of heroin.  The estimated street value of the above listed CDS was over $21,000.00.  Both Douglas and Resh were charged with numerous drug related offenses to include Possession with Intent to Distribute Heroin, Possession with Intent to Distribute Crack Cocaine, Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine, and Conspiracy to Distribute Heroin.  Mr. Douglas and Ms. Resh were taken before the court for their initial appearance at which time Douglas was committed to the Allegany County Detention Center on $300,000.00 bond and Resh was held on $25,000.00 and also committed to the Detention Center. Deputies from the Allegany County Sheriff's Office as well officers from the Cumberland Police Department assisted with this investigation.
