The Frostburg Police Department is working with the Allegany County Health Department to respond to addictions and prescription abuse through a free prescription medication takeback program.
The Frostburg City Police Department will be providing free home pickup of unwanted medications in the Frostburg City limits on the following dates and times:
Wed., 2/6/2019 – 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Fri., 2/8/2019 – 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Sat., 2/9/2019 – 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Wed., 2/13/2019 – 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Fri., 2/15/2019 – 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Sat., 2/16/2019 – 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Simply call the Frostburg City Police Department at 301-689-3000 during those times, and a police officer will respond to your residence, pick up unwanted medications, and dispose of them at the police station. Note: Officers are not permitted to collect certain items, such as sharps, liquids, or aerosols. Please inquire with any concerns.
