FSU President Says Students Entering College Lack Math Skills

Frostburg State University President Dr Ronald Nowacyzk told business leaders this week that while more and more students are interested in pursuing careers in science- unfortunately they are entering college sorely lacking in math skills. A recent study revealed that than half of students at four-year colleges — and at least 75 percent at two-year colleges — lack even a rudimentary understanding of mathematics….
