A Oakland man was arrested Monday morning on charges of making threatening phone calls to offices and dispatchers with the Garrett County Sheriff's Office and the county's 911 center.
57-year old Andrew C. Snyder was picked up, without incident, near Sheetz in Downtown Oakland.
Charges include making a threat of mass violence, misuse of a telephone, and calling 911 for a non-emergency.
The calls were apparently made over the last couple of months. Investigators were able to link a phone line used in the threatening calls to Snyder.
