Bishop Walsh Middle High School students were briefly evacuated from the building early Tuesday morning as an odor of gas had been detected. Crews from Columbia Gas responded and determined that the problem was in the kitchen area and that no threat of harm existed. Kids returned to the building after approximately 30 minutes.
