Gas Prices Begin To Ease On Motorists

March madness is here but no one seems to be mad at the gas pumps so far this spring.  Prices continue to ease for motorists as crude oil prices stabilize and refineries come back online following winter maintenance.  The national average price of regular grade gasoline dropped a penny this week to $3.69 Friday.  This price is eight cents lower than one month ago and 19 cents less expensive than the average price one year ago.  The national average has fallen 20 cents a gallon since peaking to $3.79 on February 27. In Maryland the statewide average is $3.66- while Cumberland’s average is $3.61. An analyst for Marylandgasprices.com said the steady decline in the past month is not a normal trend…
