Gas prices dropping

The majority of states across the country, including Maryland, are finally seeing a price break at the pump following some un-fall like high prices over the past few weeks. Today’s national gas price average is $2.87, which is down four cents in the last week, up three cents in the last month, and 41 cents higher than this time last year. Maryland’s gas average is 11 cents less than the national average at $2.76 per gallon, which is eight cents lower in the last week, seven cents less than last month, but 38 cents more than last year on this date. Metro areas across the state are experiencing weekly price drops ranging from three to 10 cents per gallon on average.
