Gas Prices Plunging in Maryland

October 25th, 2014 by WCBC Radio

Maryland’s average price of $3.03 per gallon for Friday has dropped 29 cents since the first of October and is at the lowest price since late December 2010.  The state average is nine cents lower compared to last week and 29 cents less than a month ago, as well as last year’s price on this date. With the Eastern Shore and many areas of Baltimore already pricing under $3.00 per gallon, AAA Mid-Atlantic expects Maryland’s average to drop below this mark as well in the coming days. In Cumberland the price for a gallon of regular unleaded, while still the highest in the state is down 8 cents from a week ago at $3.12 a gallon
