Golf tourney benefits Allegany County Animal Shelter

The second annual Bill Miller Equipment Golf Tournament in support of the Allegany County Animal Shelter will be held June 24 at Winnfield Golf Course, 214 Kamp Side Road, Lonaconing, beginning at 9 a.m. Activities for the day include two rounds of nine holes of golf, dog food giveaways courtesy of Southern States in Cumberland, a raffle table, 50/50 drawing and bake sale. Adoptable shelter dogs will be there for residents to see from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Golf teams have already been formed and registration is closed.
