Gov. Hogan Gets Casper Taylor Endorsement

Maryland Governor Larry Hogan is hoping that the 40 plus Democrats — and counting — who have endorsed him in recent weeks will be a potent weapon in his campaign to defeat Democratic nominee Ben Jealous and become the first Republican governor to win a second term in Maryland since 1954. Among those Democrats now on the record in support of Hogan is Cumberland’s Casper R. Taylor Jr. who was speaker of the Maryland House of Delegates from 1994 to 2003. In a statement recently released Taylor said “As a proud Democrat, I am honored to endorse Governor Hogan for another four years in office because he has consistently proven that it is possible to work across party lines and get big things done."
