Gov. Hogan Met With Cancer Patients At WMHS

During a three day swing through the region last week, Governor Larry Hogan made dozens appearances throughout Allegany, Garrett and Washington counties- but perhaps none were more emotional, or as important to the governor than a stop at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center in Cumberland. There the governor met privately for close to an hour with many of the patients- just two weeks ago after he received his final chemotherapy treatment. Hogan announced in May 2015 that doctors had discovered dozens of tumors throughout his body and diagnosed him with Stage 3 non-Hodgkins lymphoma.
