Gov. Hogan Recognizes Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

Maryland Governor Larry Hogan in the past week has joined children battling cancer to watch the Washington Redskins home opener and the final game of the Baltimore Orioles home stand to recognize September as Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Later this month there will be a visit to a Baltimore Ravens game. The governor is currently being treated for B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Hogan said earlier this month that he has completed two-thirds of his treatment and has two months left. Last month, Hogan said doctors told him that scans showed 95 percent of his cancer was gone. Hogan talked with WBAL Radio about how the children battling cancer serve as inspirations…
