Governor, health officials address Ebola

State health officials have outlined why they believe Maryland is well prepared to handle the Ebola crisis. Governor Martin O'Malley says the state has improved its ability to detect and contain all infectious diseases ever since the 9/11 attacks, but state health secretary Joshua Sharfstein admits people are still nervous. There have been no cases of Ebola diagnosed here, but one of those nurses from Texas who tested positive for Ebola has now taken up residence in an isolation unit at the NIH in Bethesda, where officials are promising us an update on nurse Nina Pham in about a half hour.
