Governor Larry Hogan Friday visited the Ocean City boardwalk with Maryland Comptroller Peter Franchot. The governor made several visits including Marty’s Playland and Thrasher’s, and presented citations to Dolle’s Candyland, a fourth generation candy company established in 1910, and Piezano's Pizza, which opened in 1962. This morning, the governor will deliver the closing address of the annual Maryland Association of Counties (MACo) Summer Conference at the Roland E. Powell Convention Center in Ocean City. During his remarks, the governor will directly address many of the most important issues facing Marylanders and county leadership today, including the economy, education, and violent crime in Baltimore City.
