Governor’s Office of Crime Control and Prevention Named to National Criminal Justice Association Executive Committee

The Governor’s Office of Crime Control & Prevention today announced that its Executive Director Glenn Fueston has been named one of four Regional Chairs of the National Criminal Justice Association (NCJA) Executive Committee for the 2017-2018 term. The election took place during the organization’s July 30th Advisory Council meeting, coinciding with the 2017 National Forum on Criminal Justice in Long Beach, CA. Representatives from the Governor’s Office of Crime Control & Prevention regularly attend the annual forum which brings together effective programs, research, and technologies that help justice practitioners and decision makers address pressing public safety issues. This year, Executive Director Fueston was invited as panelist for a special session centered on data access issues before accepting his position on the Executive Committee.
