Gray’s Death ruled a homicide; six officers face criminal charges

Baltimore State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby announced Friday morning that the death of Freddie Gray has been ruled a homicide and six officers will face criminal charges. Mosby said the investigation, combined with the autopsy report led to the findings. Among her comments at a press conference, Gray's was illegally arrested has he had committed no crimes; was never properly secured in the police van; and although he asked for medical treatment, police never called for help. Warrants for the arrest of the six officers involved have been issued and the charges include manslaughter; 2nd degree murder and misconduct.
