Greater Cumberland Airport To Receive Federal Funding

U.S. Senators Ben Cardin and Chris Van Hollen both announced that the Greater Cumberland Regional Airport has been awarded $5 Million in federal funding for its ongoing rehabilitation project.

The rehabilitation project will bring the following improvements:

LED Runway Lights

Parallel Taxiway

Automated Weather Observation System

The project has been estimated to cost between $33 Million and $36 Million with 90% of the funding coming from federal funding and 5% coming from both Maryland West Virginia.
