The Greater Cumberland Committee, now in its 18th year, is undergoing some changes this summer. One of those will be unveiled this week as the new office in Frostburg will officially open. TGCC will host an Open House at 1 Technology Drive, Frostburg on Wednesday from 3:30-5 PM. In recent years TGCC operated out of an office on the downtown Cumberland Mall. The new site is co-located with Tri-County Council for Western Maryland, USGS, and ASPIRA. Other changes include the search for a new executive director. In June, Brenda Friend, announced that she was stepping down to pursue a job opportunity outside of the area- and since then- former director Colleen Peterson has been serving on an interim capacity.
