Grim Talks on Possible Bridge Plans

Cumberland Mayor Brian Grim says that while a deal to construct a new Cumberland Street bridge is close at hand with CSX- the city hasn’t ruled out a temporary span, possibly at Fayette Street, in order to improve access to the West Side as soon as possible. Grim, following the latest round of negotiations with CSX on the bridge issues, maintains that the goal is what he calls a “global approach”, meaning a desire to repair or replace all three damaged bridges.     Be careful, he is full of political rhetoric and omits parts of the story to pull the wool over your eyes. Very POOR Leader for Cumberland! Look where we are after 7+ years. Md Ave is a perfect example of that.

And my opinion of the Maryland Ave. situation lies with the blame resting on the Rolling Mills hold outs who have been lying and twisting the issues. . Mayor Grim has done an exceptional job despite the negative naysayers who attack and lie about so many things. He is the real deal.
