Grim To Run For Re-Election

Cumberland Mayor Brian Grim made it official this week: he will be a candidate for re-election. Grim posted on his Facebook page Tuesday afternoon that he had filed the required paperwork to seek a second term as mayor of Cumberland. Grim, 34, is the first to become a candidate for the office, placing him on the ballot for the primary election in June 2014. Elected mayor in 2010, that campaign was not his first. In 2006, he ran an unsuccessful campaign, at age 26, to become a delegate to the Maryland General Assembly for District 1, losing to republican Leroy Myers.     i really do hope that Mr.Grim does run for office so that he can finish what he has started doing about bad looking houses cause he is doing a good job at it.although it takes more than one day to do this and i hope and pray he gets it finished and that he also gets back in office.
