During a recent forum featuring the candidates seeking a seat on the Cumberland City Council- a wide array of issues were discussed including the growing crime problem. One local business owner says he isn’t even certain the city council is aware of just how serious some of the problems are. A caller to WCBC’s “Dave Norman Show” said that the police department is incredibly understaffed- and it is putting the safety of the public and the officers at risk every night….
