Democratic gubernatorial candidate Heather Mizeur tells WCBC News that she realizes running as a candidate who supported the state’s strict gun control measures last year is a tough sell for her in western Maryland. However she doesn’t view her position as anti gun, or as an infringement on people’s rights. Delegate Mizeur says that Marylanders have ready access to firearms and that residents who are well-trained and law abiding have no trouble getting guns. She does believe the state must crack down on illegal gun trafficking. That she says is something gun owners and gun control advocates should be able to work together to accomplish that goal…
