Gun Control Discussion Between Counties

West Virginia Republican State Senator David Sypolt is known as a strong defender of a citizens right to bear arms- and has strongly opposed many efforts during his time in office to impose more stringent gun control measures. Sypolt, who represents Mineral County, would like to see his peers in neighboring Maryland do the same. During a recent joint meeting featuring state representatives from Mineral, Allegany and Garrett counties- the senator drew a few laughs when he discussed his own preference to carry a handgun, and the issues that creates for him when attempting to travel.
